Dealer 1536 - Hom Vintage (that's not a typo, it's really Hom) Hom Vintage is known for home goods including furniture, home decor items, kitchenware, and clothing that ranges from the early 1940s to the early 2000s.
Currently there is bedroom furniture, living room furniture, and dining room furniture. For the bedroom there is a mid-Century bedroom set with a lowboy dresser with mirror, and a tallboy dresser with doors that open, and it's made by Lane Alta Vista. It's solid wood in a medium color. For the living room there is a post-Modern travertine table with a glass top. Usually there are mid-century dining room and post modern dining sets available.
"Our merchandise is fairly priced, and we try to keep the prices affordable for quality furniture," says Christina Gonzalez. Her husband Brandon Gonzalez specializes in vintage clohing including tee shirts and denim, made in the USA.
There are clothing from the 80s and 90s including jump suits and dresses that start back in the 1940s. There is also a lot of denim made in the USA including oversized denim jackets, flaired boot-cut denim jeans, loose fit jeans, and overalls.
Their kitchenware collection includes "interesting and unique" items. "Lots of weighted ashtrays, glassware" are in the store now. "Ashtrays are cool even though people don't smoke anymore," says Christina. "People use ashtrays for holding keys, as a catch-all kind of tray, to hold jewelry, and as decoration." There are collectible ashtrays from the Golden Nugget Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and from various landmarks.
There are also lighting fixtures including floor lamps, table lamps, hanging lamps. "We're always bringing in lighting."
By the way, Hom is the name of Christina's grandmother, so it's really not a typo.
