At Estate Collectibles- Dealer 1556 you will find crystal, glass and higher end glass pieces including Lalique, Baccarat and Waterford and other top names. "There's a little bit of everything here," says Diane Whitmire. "It's the higher end European glass and crystal."
You will find an unusual set of Moser wine goblets with a heavy gilt trimmed band of cameo frieze. "Cameo frieze is the design on the glass in gold that goes all the way around the piece. It's a thick gold design or pattern."
There is also a limited edition, number Steiff Bear on a white mohair rocking horse. These are highly collectible. There's also a tonka truck, and a Louis Icart hand-colored etching that is signed and shows a woman holding a baby. The Icart image is square.
There is a variety of mixing bowls and pottery. There are Bauer bowl sets. These bowl sets are in yellow, orange, green, white, blue. You will also find Franciscan glass sets as well as dish sets and kitchen ware. A lot of these glass and kitchen pieces are from the 1950s which explains the colors.
Arriving soon is a set of poodle bookends which is clearly from the 1950s.
Diane is also an eBay vendor and if you find something in her eBay shop she'd be happy to bring it to King Richard's. Her eBay name is SoCal Estate Collectibles. The link to the eBay store is www.ebay.com/str/socalestatecollectibles
Diane has been collecting for many years and her finer pieces are available at King Richard's. She is always checking estate sales for fine items. "I have personally a significant amount of fine pieces. I even have old Matchbox cars and older perfume bottles. I really love Lalique very much and there are lovely perfumes that Lalique made."
Decanters, bowls, glasses, you name it and Diane says "I have it." If you're looking wine glasses with a dolphin blown into the stem, or even vintage Mahjong tiles in bakelight, Diane has them.
